Trumpeter Doc Severinsen is mostly known for his stint on Johnny Carsons “The Tonight Show”, where he was the musical leader for some 30 years. Along the way he also recorded some solo material, and this track, taken from the album “Night Journey”, is a funk/disco-tune begging for a dancefloor:
